What Sheepper stores and why

Who operates Sheepper

Sheepper is the operator of this service. Privacy, access and deletion requests can be sent to founders@sheepper.app.

Information we collect

• Account: email address, name, authentication records and session data.
• Creator profile: username, profile text, avatar and links you choose to publish.
• Products: titles, lessons, media, prices, access settings and files you upload.
• Learner and purchase records: account email, access grants and payment status needed to deliver gated products.
• Product analytics: product or lesson viewed, normalized referrer, country supplied by the hosting network, and mobile or desktop device category.
• Connections: the name, permissions, prefix and last-use time of a Sheepper agent key. The secret is shown once and stored as a hash.
• Technical data: request logs, security events, authentication cookies, language preference and local browser preferences.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate users, store and publish products, enforce access, operate reader pages, provide creator analytics, secure connected agents, support users and diagnose failures. We do not use product content to train a Sheepper model.

Codex, Claude and other connected tools

Sheepper does not ask for or store your Codex or Claude provider key. Your chosen tool uses its own account or key and sends permitted product operations to Sheepper through a separate, revocable Sheepper connection key. Your use of that tool is also governed by its provider's privacy terms.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage. Vercel hosts the web application and processes network requests. Polar may process billing and transaction information after automated checkout launches. These providers process data under their own terms and may handle it in countries other than yours.

Cookies and browser storage

Sheepper uses authentication cookies to keep you signed in and a language cookie to remember your choice. Local browser storage remembers interface preferences and temporary authoring state. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party advertising analytics.

Retention and deletion

Account and product data is kept while the account is active or while it is needed to provide the service. Security, payment and dispute records may be retained when needed to prevent abuse, meet legal obligations or resolve a transaction. Sheepper does not yet have a self-service account deletion flow.

To request a copy, correction or deletion, email founders@sheepper.app from the address on your account. We may ask you to verify ownership before acting. Some information may remain where retention is legally required.

If Sheepper closes

There is no automated full-account export yet. Keep a separate copy of source files you cannot afford to lose. If a shutdown is planned, we will make a reasonable effort to give advance notice and provide instructions for downloading or requesting a copy of your content. We cannot promise uninterrupted access during an unplanned outage or shutdown.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a portable copy of personal data, and to object to some uses. Send the request to the email above. You may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.

Changes

We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. Material changes will be announced in the product or by email when practical.
